As a result of the Rural White Paper, published by the Government in 2000, there arose a desire for local communities to create a Parish Plan to link in with County Strategic Plans. This would assist local government in ensuring effective help for local communities and enabling them to best address the issues and concerns of local people.
The aim is for a review to be undertaken every 5 years after publication and in 2015 a new questionnaire was produced and distributed to residents to gauge the level of success of the first issue of the Parish Plan. From the results of the questionnaire a new action plan has been produced for the next 5 years.
